Autumnstoned Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Does anyone know if either of these tracks were issued as singles?. Both songs appear on the "Unissued" album as does "You Can Come Right Back To Me b/w Dinah" which I gather was isued as a single in 1971 on the Motown label (offered for sale to me over the phone so didn't actually see it although by a reputable collector) but I would have thought either of the above tracks would have been much more commercial releases making me wonder if either was issued. Can't seem to find a reliable USA David Ruffin singles discography on the net .
Jaco Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 According to DFTMC neither track was issued. "It's gonna take a whole lot of doin" was recorded on 10 October 1969 whilst "Anything that you ask for" was recorded on 15 October 1969. Both were produced by Clay McMurray.
Autumnstoned Posted September 17, 2010 Author Posted September 17, 2010 Thanks for your reply Jaco - I wasn't aware of DFTMC - am now.
