bit of a long shot but after a jazz dance 45 by sal davis called makini i think its an african release

This was rereleased in 2008 on Counterpoint Records as a 7". Its also on a compilation cd / vinyl I'm sure you will track down the repress 7 if it suits you, its good quality vinyl large centre hole, here is a link to counterpoint records
