Guest SteveJohnston Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Two not posted up yet! The first is a track someone put on a TDK tape back in the day! & took me a few years to track one down Patti Drew "working on a groovy thing" I've been playing this on & off in my warm up spots at the Stute it's a fine dance track imo. The second is a nice Demo to go along with Rogers issue of "stay with your own kind".
Anoraks Corner Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 'Blowing out the candles'...quite popular at the Capitol Soul Club in its day...awesome over a club PA!
Anoraks Corner Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 (edited) Here's a few more from the files that I've sold over recent times. Tell you what, that Latin-esque Checkmates track rocks (MTAOL)...ex Keb spin (I've got a spare demo if anyone wants it?)...and the Tams track is well worth seeking out should you be looking for Funky edged movers...recommended. Anoraks Corner Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 How about this little puppy that once upon a time was a Richard Searling Casino spin...on 123 in the US here's the Japanese 7"...on red vinyl as well...mmmm. Though rare, I do have a spare (hey that rhymes!) if anyone is interested?!
