Northern Soul Uk Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Hi fellow soulies! I have just purchased a 'Lou Johnson' 4 track EP Demo. The EP has the following tracks; 1 - Always something there to remind me 2 - Unsatisfied 3 - Magic potion 4 - Reach for me The matrix number is 'GLOU 1' Has anyone come across one of these and if so what is the history of it? I thought when I bought it that is may be a bootleg, but the deadwax is actually stamped and not scratched on as a boot may be? so looks like a legit release. Any info greatly appreciated. Thank you Steve
Sebastian Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 It's an official (I assume?) late-1990s release done by the UK label Goldmine Soul Supply. It uses the same artwork as Lou's original 60s EP on UK London.

Only cost me £2.20 so well worth it for the tracks it contains. Thanks again. Steve Edited September 3, 2010 by steveluigi
