How much for a minty Odyssey mowest LP battened ships etc dont really want to sell and I know things are tight for many but looking for a good price to fund a want was thinking £100 but someone said you possibly might get more / then someone said less is 100 bout right

Personally Kieran i would have said a mint copy would fetch more around teh £80 mark, however it is an LP that is massively in demand, so £100 may well be achievable.

2 great soul records on it that would work out at 50 quid a piece........well worth it!!

Probably also worth noting that the 'battened ships' record is increasingly in demand with the b-boys. Not justs peeps from the soul scene chasing this lp

Yeah might just stick on the bay mate I hate this selling thing always get stuck as to selling it at a price that wont rip anyone off and not ripping myself off I recently sold a " sage im alive " for £150 had about 10 peeps asking for it wasnt aware to be fair that it sold on ebay recently for $500 or there abouts not bothered at that cause thats about what I paid for it a few year ago 150 I mean just get the feeling some dont really want the record for themselves more to sell on at higher price / profit thats there bag I suppose but always feel for that guy or girl who gets priced out of it yet truly wants the record for listening pleasure not finiancal

Kieran mate...don't beat yourself up about the rights and wrong's regarding selling records.

Personally if someone you consider a friend ,tries to take the p**s and tells you it's worth less ,knowing full well it's worth a lot more ,then that's naughty ,but honestly anything else is swings and roundabouts .

Put it on ebay for £200 buy it now or make me an offer ,if it's indemand you'll get a good price ,that way you'll be on the open market and a person who really want's it for himself will always pay more than someone wanting to shift it on!
