The mention of a man's name in records is commonplace , i.e. Barnabus Collins in Kenya Collins' " Love Bandit " , but you have now set these old grey cells a poser . I will report back later if I can come up with one , or hopefully , several . Malc Edited August 27, 2010 by Malc Burton Link to comment Social source share

Like Sam & Dave, Wilson Picket, for examples. But, due to fading memory, can't name specific tunes. I'll leave that to those with better memory retaining abilities than me. Guest TONY ROUNCE
Wasn't Barnabus Collins Kenya's husband?? No, BC was a fictional vampire (is there any other kind?) in a 70s US TV soap called "Dark Shadows". There are several records that mention him, quite a lot of them in reggae... He's about to be portrayed on screen by Johnny Depp in a new Tim Burton movie adaptation of the series. Guest
Wasn't Barnabus Collins Keanya's husband?? Barnabus Collins was a character - a vampire - played by actor Jonathan Frid the US 1960's ( 1966 - 1971 ) TV series " Dark Shadows " , which was billed as the first supernatural soap opera . Keanya Collins' version was a " gimmick " record , made to cash in on the success of the show , but sadly failed to makie an impact .
