Guest Rich Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Shame I would of thought Phil you could have moved away from the orange play safe labels with white graphics, turn it up eighties my lad - The Jammers, Micheal Wycoff and Kenny Burke. But thanks to Baz M for Everett Blood Hollins 1 x RCA offering How Have You Been RCA 10114 and the later RCA 11373 - Heaven Must Have Known. Of the 80s stuff, Glenn Jones 'Finesse' has got to be one of the best (IMO) of its time. Got some plays at Clifton Hall I believe - Sam??? Or it could have been Derby?? My memory is shite. But of the RCA 60s stuff, I have to agree with cdfromderby - Sharon Scott's 'I'd like to know' has to be up there with them - I also like Lorraine Chandler's 'Tell me..' is a fave also.
Guest ritchie Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Kenny Carter - I've Got To Find Her. Probably one of the best enders ever?
wiganelli Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) Because it's mid-tempo mediocre nonsense that sounds like Elvis Presley....Well that's what l think...But as for Lorraine Chandler-l Can't Hold On.....now we're talking Northern Soul of the highest callibre.....Are you trying to get me into trouble...?
