Steve G Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 7" orig came out on Hy Tide then reissued on Ted Jarrett's T Jaye label. Hy Tide is rarer, T Jaye should be quite easy to pick up. Steve

Steve G Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Also came out in UK on MOVE records Hello Mark, I remember Move they were from Edinburgh and put out a lot of indies that had become popular with the modern crowd at the time, this one included. Generally I found the sound quality on Move releases to be not so good though....better off with a US original

John Reed Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I have no idea how much a first issue sells for but I think it is a very hard one to get.Regards Tim. One went on ebay a few weeks ago and i think from memory it went for about £30-40
Swifty Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I put one up on ebay a few weeks ago on T-JAYE and it fetched 5.99 , great record though ! Cheers Swifty
Steve G Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 A lot of the T Jaye copies came to the UK at the time of release. Hi Tyde did as well but was only ever in limited quantity. So it's one of those like David Sea on Crown Intl or Roy Dawson on Coemands, which are far easier to find in the UK, than in the US. I agree it's a lovely tune. Cheap too. Now if it had a northern beat.....
