Already asked the question of the dancer.. It's the 70's (1st) series he seeks..
paup-ine Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Already asked the question of the dancer.. It's the 70's (1st) series he seeks.. I have the complete 70s collection, bought on each release, and put in cardboard covers, very rarely played. P:)

Pete S Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Hi, I have the whole series if you are interested. P:) And they are in top notch cond. I was going to say I'd be interested in buying those but after seeing some of the prices being asked, I think I'll leave it - I sold a full set to Johnny Fingers a couple of years back for, how much John, £300? Like all labels, there's tons of common ones and a handful of rare ones. Things like ray Godfrey, £2, Al Williams £40.
pikeys dog Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Can't see the point in buying the lot in one go. Part of the fun in collecting label runs is the effort taken in hunting down the individual releases, and being able to place certain ones to venues / periods of your life etc.
pikeys dog Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 ps i think Pete's valuation for a full set is bang on.

Part of the fun in collecting label runs is the effort taken in hunting down the individual releases, and being able to place certain ones to venues / periods of your life etc. I know what you are saying, but some people are going to hang on to the rare ones any way and you could end up paying a packet for those!
