ShorterSoul Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 yep, thats the one any ideas on value or availabililty? Great record, paid about £80 for mine about 5 years ago...don't think it's that tough to find.. good luck
Mike Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 yep a tip top 45 seen it a few times available over last year or so there's some info on here ref difference on demo's etc search should take you there
Reg Scott Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Great record, paid about £80 for mine about 5 years ago...don't think it's that tough to find.. good luck You paid £80 - that's a result imho.. It's not a really tuff 45, but it's certainly not easy to come by and not for £80, I wouldn't sell mine for that anyway. A fair price for a nice clean copy - £150+ I would guess.. ATB Greg.
tim smithers Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 £150 IS ABOUT RIGHT, BUT YOU CAN HAVE MINE FOR 200 LOL
Windlesoul Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) I sold the Coast Recorders acetate to PhilT on here a couple of weeks ago, the same acetate has probably been owned by at least 4 soul sourcers now! Maybe if you wait long enough you'll be next!! Happy hunting! Mark Edited August 7, 2010 by mark w.
pikeys dog Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 £100 tops. Some common sense pricing required around these here parts...
Rich B Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 I know it's an old Poke spin from the early 90's, haven't heard it for years though. best, RB
Dolly13 Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) Dave rivers has had a copy vanish out of his sales box recently... Edited August 7, 2010 by Dolly13
Guest Andy Kempster Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 i shall be looking to be adding this to my box so i'll make sure i check with old cloth ears before i buy ;-)
Reg Scott Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 £100 tops. Some common sense pricing required around these here parts... Agreed, some of the garbage that sells or is priced at £500+ never ceases to amaze - scarcity over quality.. But I beg to differ on this one, which is a great uptempo gritty dancer, if you can locate a EX/NM copy for a ton you're a lucky chap. ATB Greg.
Sebastian Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 In my experience this is a far rarer 45 than most people realise. Only turns up about once or twice per year on ebay. When I was after it I had to wait more than a year for a copy to turn up for sale.
Dave Pinch Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 late nineties a few copies turned up so i snapped one up for £25.there were a few about then so it dipped in value a bit. i thought it was a forgotten oldie. still a decent 45 but surely its too fast and frantic to dance to these days dave

Guest Andy Kempster Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 i would have said it was perfect for the current scene. depends where go i suppose
pikeys dog Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Paid £60 for one 18 months ago on eBay. Seen a few pass through there since. Most have DJ written on them in felt tip pen.
