Odds & Ends " Let Me Try"

Is it "Cecilia" by Simon and Garfunkel? ;-)

Seriously, good luck with this one. It's got be one of the most over-used couplets in popular music .

Reverse lines and it could be Glories "I worship you baby"

Im beggin' you please, Im down on my knees

Hi Rod,top man and much respect.

Hi Rod,top man and much respect.

Well that's the kiss of death for that suggestion! But thanks for kind words.

It may be wrong as I kinda assoiciate Glories with the Torch, long time before Morecambe [unless it was an oldies do?]

LOL, it's in almost every song I can think of! Deffo over-used as Son Of Stan says.........

Ian D

Along with,

"You took my heart / and tore it all apart"

and,

" when you said goodbye /... don't know why.. /.. all I could do was cry"

(With thanks to the VG+ers, for these).

Hi Chris, this is what leapt into my mind..

"Dont make me wait too long, cause without you I cant go on, you are the one for me, cause I need you so desperately"

"Now I'm On My Bended Knees, Beggin You Baby, Baby, Baby Please, Don't Make Me Wait Too Long"

Bunny Sigler

probably not, but you never know. Hope you and yours are doing okay.

Cheers Guys, I`ll pass the info onto my mate and see what he makes of it.

The one i`m thinking of was Danny Wagner "I lost a true love".

Cheers, Chris

That would have been my suggestion too, pretty sure it was a big Morecambe track too.
