Tonight theres a club (basement of pub) with dj's playing 6ts ska/reggae/northern/rnb. The venue is cask and 13 cantons off beak st (carnaby st) - its free entry. Might be a few celebs flying about as well as round the corner liam Gallaghers shop Pretty Green has it's opening press party, some of that crowd will probably pop in for a drink. not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing

Our night Walls of Heartache is on in Walthamstow - fairly easy to get to if you are in North or East London and 20mins from Liverpool Street on the overground - night buses are frequent to get back.

9.00pm to 2.00am - Northern and Motown - guest DJ ths month, Andy Kempster

£5.00 on the door but a special deal available to first time soul-sourcers

We're only a small venue but usually packed with atmosphere

It's a really good very friendly nite, highly recommended
