Chalky Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 sorry to hijack the topic but when did this get first played and by whom? I remember Gary Spencer giving it plenty of turntable action.
Guest posstot Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 People should turn it over and play the wild ones....ooh dear me, mmmmarvelous.
Philt Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 People should turn it over and play the wild ones....ooh dear me, mmmmarvelous. oh aye, both sides fantastic IMHO. I think loads of records of this type slip by many folk unnoticed these days due to [what seems to me anyway to be] an apparent preoccupation / obsession in some quarters with 'banging uptempo'. Just on Decca, thinking about things like Connie Questell 'world ...', Bunny Sigler etc etc. Shame. Or am I just going to the wrong places? Good luck Melv, shouldn't be too hard to track one down at reasonable money mate.
