NEV Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I would hardly say Karl was the only person to know who it was Ged. You only have to buy the book to get the cd to know . . . . . Not to mention how many people have now got a copy on vinyl carver Joan....... .i was told a while back but i forgot to write it in my little book:huh:
shute Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Hear this other version played out at j17 not long back seem to remember that its a bit slower than Pat & Blenders ?
Ged Parker Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I would hardly say Karl was the only person to know who it was Ged. You only have to buy the book to get the cd to know . . . . . But wasn't Karl the first to play it covered up? Mick Howard was playing it off a carver that came to him from Karl via someone else. Come to think of it that was at Prestatyn two years ago. Time flies when your having fun doesn't it
Jumpinjoan Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 But wasn't Karl the first to play it covered up? Mick Howard was playing it off a carver that came to him from Karl via someone else. Come to think of it that was at Prestatyn two years ago. Time flies when your having fun doesn't it Karl was the first I heard play it out but anyone who bought the book knew who it was long before he played it. Can't see where the problem is Ged. Hardly a secret is it?
Ged Parker Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 No not a problem here, it was thefletchers post made me think it was still a 'secret'. At least they are out of their misery now
funkyfeet Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 (edited) When I heard Karl first play it out I asked him who it was, he said I should know as I had sold it him, true I had forgotton all about the track anyway here's a picture of the group . Edited July 17, 2010 by funkyfeet
