Guest Craig the Manc Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 (edited) One I dug out from the depths of LP stack's. First class modern soul album, to which I know Adam rates it top quality. What's the availability and price these days? Edited July 26, 2005 by Craig the Manc

Guest Craig the Manc Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Haunted House, incredible record, got plays in early eighties. link Also " I Surrender " used to get played at Leics Oddfellows. Brilliant album with one side ballards and the flip all dancers
jazzyjas Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Just pulled this LP and i'm listening to it right now. Killer stuff! Very solid all the way through. Even a few of the ballads move right along. Here's a weird thing that I noticed. My 12" single of "Love's Calling" / "Gettin' Down" credits James Ingram as the vocalist. His name is mentioned no where on the LP jacket though. Anyone know about this? Either way, thanks for bringing this LP back to my attention. I knew it was good when I found it, but I never took the time to give it a good listen. Thanks! KTF Jas

Re: Love Calling and quote Lamont Dozier 'I think it's one of the best things I've ever written and produced' Searling also had it as his number one track of the eighties in an old Blues and Soul. It would be in my top ten Cheers, Steve.
