Guest Catfish
Anyone been to see the west end musical 'Dancing in the Street'? If so, what did you think? Good fun or embarassing ordeal? Link to comment Social source share
Supercorsa
I'm hoping to get one of the large posters advertising it at the train station where I work. Link to comment Social source share
Guest SteveA
Anyone been to see the west end musical 'Dancing in the Street'? If so, what did you think? Good fun or embarassing ordeal? link It's fun in a 'hen / party night out' kinda way. The audience were up & dancing most of the show. Just leave your prejudices at the door otherwise you'll never enjoy it. It's a game attempt by a largely UK ensemble. The costumes & moves are respectfully good. Of course, it ain't the Funk Bros but it's the nearest to a Motown 1965 style revue we'll get (unless you saw the originals). Feel free to boo the two 'Lionel Ritchie' songs - I did! Guest in town Mikey
BOO very loudly i should say......... link Not just me then. Apart from Brick House, which is passable, I think everything the Commodores did was awful. I mean! look at the computer they made, it was dreadful too. Not a big fan of Stevie Wonder either. Do I have to say three Sir Duke's and a Dancing on the ceiling? Link to comment Social source share
Guest Catfish
Thanks for the feedback guys it helps. Sounds like the best thing about the show might be the poster, if you're into soul the way we all are. Link to comment Social source share
