Personally think the Herman Davis is a much better record.

I've not heard the Herman Davis played out yet unlike the Moses Smith which sounds great over a loud system.

seem to think a mister ian cunliffe had a moses smith 45 for sale recently on a neat red issue which must be pretty rare me thinks. Ian's on here by the way.

Got a Herman Davis WDJ in Ex nick for sale at £30 if anybodies interested.

I don't quite understand why the Herman Davis 45 is compared with the Moses Smith 45. They are both fantastic records that I love, but apart from that they don't have that much in common, I think.

I know genre classification is not always a very good tool to describe records, it barely does them justice.

But I think the Moses Smith 45 is a real mid-tempo dance record and the herman davis 45 could be described, dunno, maybe a crossover beat ballad?

So it is a bit misleading to compare those two records :shades:

My Herman Davis is a green issue, by the way.

Cheers,

Stefan
