They are both fantastic records that I love, but apart from that they don't have that much in common, I think. I know genre classification is not always a very good tool to describe records, it barely does them justice. But I think the Moses Smith 45 is a real mid-tempo dance record and the herman davis 45 could be described, dunno, maybe a crossover beat ballad?
