Hi Stevie,

Vintage clothes at the flea markets in Chelsea at the weekend, one indoor, one outdoor. Hell's kitchen on a Sunday and another over the Brooklyn Bridge in Dumbo. I bought lots of things!

More details coming if needed. :hatsoff2:

Lots of vinyl shops in Greenwich Village, A1 records, Finyl Vinyl, Bleaker Bob's etc... Unfortunately most now trade on the internet and keep odd opening hours. Some nice restaurants nearby too so you can sit and watch the front doors for any signs of life.

Hi Stevie try this place in Brooklyn its wall to wall records in the basement & they charge 3 singles for a dollar but you have got to be prepared to get your clothes dirty so take some old clothes with you.

The Thing 1001 Manhattan Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11222-1313, United States(718) 349-8234

ok, don't waste your time on those other stores, seriously The Thing is horrible & you'll probably catch more respiratory diseases than actual good records there. Good luck with Bleeker Bob's too. Actually Infinity & Rhythm are ok, but a bit tricky to find/out of the way if you're touristy on Manhattan, the ones below are all relatively easy to hit in Manhattan & will yield good stuff. I really recommend both Good & Academy, good stuff can be found quickly at both these stores & you can get back on track with sightseeing asap.

essentially the only record stores you need to get to are:

Good Records
