Prophonics 2029 Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Listening to Butch play this out last night, I know Shifty had a 12 of this but that's all.

Prophonics 2029 Posted July 4, 2010 Author Posted July 4, 2010 I was trying to place it as a 60ts or 70ts track, looked like a 10 inch on the decks.

I thought it might be Barbara Jean but on listening again last nite I don't know. The female vocalist sounds familiar though?
Prophonics 2029 Posted July 7, 2010 Author Posted July 7, 2010 Well done Chalky that's fantastic, thanks for posting it up.
Russ Vickers Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 (edited) Originally a 'Shifty' play.........uncredited acetate & it was me that came up with the c/up name when Al played it down the phone to me when he first got it.........so you can blame me if its a crap 'name'. As stated previously now residing with the Butchmeister. Best Russ Edited July 7, 2010 by Russ Vickers

Best Russ Russ, to be fair, two great artists chosen for the name. So, without appearing to be kissy kissy I like the c/u name.. I know that's not in keeping with the usually confrontational approach sometimes favoured but what the hell ATB Greg.

Robbk Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Can we hear a snippet of it, to maybe identify the artist (or, at least, make a best guess)?
