slimharpo
I watched 'Ray' again recently and it inspired me to go look for and play a Mary Ann Fisher 45 that I have - It's A Man;s World. What a great uptempo R&B dance side this is, Written by Pearl Woods and Leroy Kirkland. I particularly like the part where she uses the phrase 'Tell The Truth' in a reference I think to her great duet with Ray Charles on the song of that name, where on the live version, Ray gives out the best soul scream ever IMO. So, is this well known and better still is it getting played? Link to comment Social source share

slimharpo
Which must be "Forever More". Sean Even better than 'What Knid If Man Are You'? another classic she did for Ray Charles. It's a slowie so may not be so popular! Link to comment Social source share
