Geeselad Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Modern oldie, ie the love I lost. I love music. floater, stomper, crawler. and northern motown.
Guest Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Boogaloo The Quik - Bert`s Apple Crumble Personally for me Simon I wouldn't class that as Boogaloo to me its 60's beat / freakbeat a term used in the 80's Mods scene of course I could be wrong:g: lol
Ged Parker Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 For me there's just two types - Those I like and Those I don't. Not sure I need any more labels than that.
Guest in town Mikey Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Reggae? How about Jimmy Cliff - Waterfall? Maybe not reggae, but a reggae artist, and the other side certainly is. Anyone know why, or how he came to record this? It sounds to me like it could be for a film?

Guest ScooterNik Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 (edited) Chin strokers are a type of person like handbaggers i guess.... Scooterists soul??? have you heard this term used???? Fair point about chinstrokers, but I've definately heard the term 'scooterists soul' used, though probably only between soul loving scooterists. It's the overplayed trash we have to live with, that even a desperate DJ on the northern scene wouldn't touch unless he was being ironic. "Out On The Floor", "The Snake", "A Little Bit Hurt", "Fortune Teller", "Stop Her On Sight" and the like. All still played too regularly on the scooter scene. Edited June 21, 2010 by ScooterNik
