Ha , f*** me , a pair of patchworks, did it ever rain on you while ridin wi apair o them on, you wouldnt be able to drag your arse in the house when you got home .Me brother had a centurion helmet like those in the pictures , But he had a motocross bike before he bough a yam ys 250 trouble was , he still had a duckbill peak instead of the better looking steep fronted clip on peaks you could buy. he made me wear it on the back once, an not only was i nearly decapitated as i glanced over his shoulder at speed( probably about 40!!!) as the wind lifted the helmet off my head , but as soon as he braked , my head shot forward and launched my head forward , the spade like front caught the back of his neck nearly taking his head off too! i always wanted a scooter, but i suppose followed his example and bought a trail bike instead, but i followed his fashionable exaple and wore a bloody huge air force greatcoat double breasted with a huge collar that funnelled the wind straight down my back making me inflate like a a big blue michelin man. a pair of orange tinted bike goggles and open faced lid completed the torture . A bee in the face at fifty miles an hour felt like id been shot with a twelve bore, and the rain was like having yer face tattooed. I thought i was stayin true to the mod influences my mates and bein a soul boy . tragically hip would be a better description. , like the kirkmeister , pilot of the shamens stag do on the mighty boosh, i resembled a thirteenyear old who couldnt have stood out more if he,d been on a flying carpet. Nice pics lad Oh the tune, The van dykes , "save my love for a rainy day" on mala. Have a good weekend ! Edited June 19, 2010 by whatsthiscalled
