Guest Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 (edited) Some top sounds here, all in need of loving new homes where they will be loved and cherished . Bit short of time so no scans or clips for now, hopefully will get the chance to add a few this evening. Price includes postage in UK, add £5 for registered airmail. Payment by Paypal only please, prompt payment appreciated. Money back if you're not happy with any purchase. Jesse Fisher - You're Not Loving A Beginner - Way Out Awesome dancer and on the much rarer original red/white label design. EX+ £135 Mike Teague - Funky Funky - Christi Exactly same as current in-demander Betty Brooks just much, much rarer! EX £150 Gladys Tyler with Ray Scott - A Little Bitty Girl - Decca dj Powerful pounder of a dancer that has never been easy to find. EX £200 Deon Jackson - That's What You Do To Me - Carla Floor filling classic and with good reason.....QUALITY. M- £50 Richard (Popcorn) Wylie - Rosemary What Happened/Instrumenal - Karen wdj Gorgeous white demo, which doesn't help you decide whether the vocal or instrumental is the better to play but it does look lovely! M- £60 ON HOLD Dan Folger - The Way Of The Crowd - Elf Classy slice of soul, down tempo brilliance. M- £90 United Four - She's Putting You On - Harthon Original of course, and bloody brilliant. M- £40 Derek Martin - Breakaway - Roulette wdj Stomper with added stomp and coated in a layer pure quality. M- £60 Betty Wright - Circle Of Heart Breaks - Alston Currently priced at idiotic levels of up to £100 by some dealers, starting to take off but if anyone pays a ton for this at the moment they need help. EX plays perfectly but has few pressing 'bumps and dimples' £25 Fred Hughes - Walk On Back To You/As Long As We're Together - Exodus Currently starting to pick up well deserved plays, double sider to rival most big money 45s. M- £40 Al Gardner - Sweet Baby - Googa Mooga with Pic Sleeve What do you mean you can't afford obscene amounts of money for the Sepia release?? Well come on then you tight-fisted buggers, here's the stunning French release complete with picture sleeve for a fraction of the price of that Sepia 45. Vinyl M- Sleeve: strong VG+ usual storage wear on edges/corners and small split on bottom edge but no rips/writing. Looks great! £75 Fluffy Falana - My Little Cottage - Alpha Up tempo gritty northern, ex Wigan biggie VG+ plays loud and clear sticker residue on label, flip label has small tear on edge and small initials in biro. £150 Melvin Elling - Lonely Eyes - Stretch Supreme mid tempo beauty. EX flip label has small sticker with 'Ted' written on it and a small '9' in wax crayon £160 Michael & Raymond - Man Without A Woman - RCA Victor wdj Pied Piper.....nuff said. EX £90 Eddie Holland - I'm On The Outside Looking In - Motown Arguably one of the best 'northern' Motown releases. EX+ £110 R. Dean Taylor - There's A Ghost In My House - VIP wdj Pristine white demo of this monster oldie. M- £75 Magnificent 7 - Never Will I (Make My Baby Cry) - Dial Recent reactivation spin, floor filling dancer. M- £30 SOLD Jimmy Burns - Powerful Love/Give Her To Me - Tip Top wdj. Two great sides on a rarely seen 45. EX+ £125 Magicians - Is It All Gone? - Villa OK, not the one that everyone seems to want (and that Ryan seems to be able to find at will, lucky b*stard) but this is a great group soul dancer that shouldn't be overlooked. EX- downgraded it due to some light surfce scuffs, plays great though. £65 Merle Spears - I Want To Know - Whit Rare pre-Atlantic local label. VG+ looks bit untidy but plays great. £40 S.O.U.L. - The Joneses - Musicor Brilliant, stunning beauty of a tune. Killer harmonies over a funky backing that builds and builds. EX £15 Fabulous Downbeats - Life Goes On/Ask Me - Poison Ring. A forgotten Wigan play, great stomping dancer. EX+ £60 Chino Feaster - A Grown Man Cry/You're So Much Woman - Blue Rock wdj Mid tempo brilliance on both sides and priced cheaply I think? EX £60 Edited June 15, 2010 by Guest
