Last week's was with Steve Plumb and there is a separate thread for this The week before, it was Fraser Dunn and myself. Again, there's a separate thread for this This week was with Gary Dennis. Here is the download link, not sure if Gary will post a playlist https://SoulPeople13Jun10GaryDennis.notlong.com If there are any problems with the download links, let me know and I'll try to help. Best wishes to all, Zane
Girthdevon Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 An invaluable service Zane, always appreciated.....I always miss it on Sunday mornings. Usually taxi-ing kids around, or trudging round bootfairs.....great to catch up with Plumby's ramblings earlier this week...... Steve Plumb Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 This Sunday we're having a bit of a change...... Mr Maleady (should he turn up that is LOL) will be treating us to some of the music that inspired him in his love for 70's Soul & Crossover with memories of the clubs that went hand in hand with those memories.................whilst i'll be showcasing some of the new (old) tuneage that's either knocking around now OR forthcoming in the near future! Look out in particular for THREE tracks recently unearthed from 1971 from a TRUE unknown Soul vocalist! Listening to these tracks will leave you wondering how the hell they stayed in the can and more importantly, how the hell the singer didn't become a real star.............I kid you not! So hope you can join us on Sunday between the usual time of 10am-Midday! Soul People - It does exactly what it says on the tin Cheers Steve
