Rob Moss Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Can't think of a bad record he's ever been associated with whether it's as an artist, writer or producer. Seeing him 'live' in UK several years ago was a rare privilege. His 'After all' is one of the greatest soul records of all time.

Windlesoul Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 (edited) Its there now Andy, and also the Loleattta Holloway LP on Aware, classic early 70s LP of ballads and dancers, many penned/prod by Dees. Noticed how you can always spot Sam Dees ballads a mile away, no matter who's singing them? Personal Dees faves though, have got to be his own recordings- Child of the streets (torturously good!!!) and Signed Miss Heroin....believe signed Miss Heroin was from the same session (is this right?) but didn't end up on the album. Agree Tony, It was just a quick dump (so to speak!) "Lover For Life" in particular, has always been a fave! Sean Edited June 10, 2010 by Sean Hampsey
John Benson Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 (edited) "Girl overboard" by Miss Moore Now I could give you a big list - but I couldn't confirm they are all 'must haves' There were one or two 'not so good' ones recorded - Alley on Jay Boy for one But to be honest, the good ones far outweigh the bad ones by miles Edited June 10, 2010 by John Benson
