Pete S
Sorry if this is already up elsewhere. Same guy who was selling the paintings last week has an apparently super-rare record for sale. Listened to it, quite nice, I might pay £50 for it on a good day maybe. https://cgi.ebay.com/RAREST-RECORD-WORLD-NORTHERN-POPCORN-MOSES-/150452866905?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item2307b08f59 Link to comment Social source share

Agree it's a jazz track really, don't see what it has to do with Popcorn either. Mind the guys from Belgium, very odd bunch of dealers over there. I noticed a few of them in the last month on Ebay with 'Buy it now' prices to make your eyes water. Link to comment Social source share

As for the price - dunno if the Jazzers are paying dosh like that for one off things. Who knows ? But I doubt it, they are not generally as mad as Soul collectors. Nice sound tho. If he owned a "A LARGE OUT OF PRINT POPCORN WALK- IN -RECORD STORE FOR 20 YEARS", then i'd say it would help him a great if he could give up the name and some more info. I have been in his shop in Antwerp ;only small and no prices on his 45s and his prices are much too high, i told him i could get the same in England for alot cheaper but he would not move on his prices,he didnt seem interested in selling unless you pay his price, never been back. Weingarden
It's absurd to call anything the rarest record in the world. Actually I quite like it. Am sure tho, you can find similar stuff in your local charities on £1 easy listening LPs if you want to work that hard.... And the acetate sounds like its about to fall apart. Other than that - worth every penny, I'd say! Link to comment Social source share
