We`re proud and happy to present our newest signing, Budapest based Latin Boogaloo Band EL CHAVO, produced by the legendary Jazz DJ PAUL MURPHY. This is going to be our first ever Vinyl 7" Release - the only according format for this fantastic rocking piece of music that sounds like right out of Spanish Harlem in 1967. We gave El Chavos versions of Tito Puentes Hit The Bongo and the Acid Jazz Classic Hola Muneca to a handful of chosen DJs and it not only got rave reviews but also set any dance floor on fire that it got played to. A sure Future Classic!

"Superb! Goes straight on the show! A Latin bomb that stands shoulder to shoulder with the Tito original. Love El Chavo's sound and want to hear much much more from Paul Murphy and his band of Latin brothers!

The Craig Charles Funk And Soul Show (BBC 6Music)

"Rowdy latin boogaloo...just the way it should be! Love it! Can't believe this is a 2010 recording! El Chavo sound like they should be stumbling out of an East Harlem nightclub at 7am on a Sunday morning in 1967...."

DJ Lubi - UK latin Don DJ & CD compiler (Fania-Freestyle-Nascente)

It's Brilliant!!! Paul Murphy was London's jazz originator - a true dj legend - this time he turns his hand to the oft overlooked sound of Boogaloo - and nails it! A slice of Joe Bataan for the 21st century !

Eddie Piller (Acid Jazz)

What a killer track! Really enjoyed the percussion, bass line, horns...everything, I liked the very happy vibe of this tune, will play in my sets for sure. DRUMAGICK

Didn't hear any new recorded latin boogaloo tunes in a long time and this one is rocking and delivering a brilliant live atmosphere!

Chris "Dusty" Doepke (Jazz & Milk)

BIG HITTER! Authentically funktified...Great work, sir! RICHARD E (Further Out)

Tasty rumpshaker that you can't sit still to ! Nik Weston (Mukatsuku Records)

Great to finally hear this project!! Sounding very good indeed. Something that'll be in the box for the next year!! Good work sir!! Diesler (Tru Thoughts)
