George Benson - Erotic Moods - US Paul Winley

Can anyone tell me if this album was re-issued - I've got a sealed copy but the cover seems to be made of thinner card than standard for 70's albums

Thanks

Pretty sure it has been yes.....even the 'original' issue is unofficial, cashing in on George's name - he barely played on it I think.....

I think there was a more recent bootleg (like a lookalike scorpio records type of thing from the 90s) to cash in on the popularity of the harlem underground band "smokin cheeba" which is also on that album. I think the original was released to cash in on his name more than the reissue.

I don't know this one but as far as I know, most of the releases on Paul Winley are bootlegs.

I don't think the original 70s release was a bootleg, "smokin cheeba" came out on paul winley originally.

None of the 45s in the 1000/1100 series are bootlegs. I'm not saying that one of two might not have been bootlegged in the intervening years, but they were all legit when first released.

I'm less sure about the 1100 series, and the 00 series, but as I don;t want any of the records in those series, I don't care if they've been booted or not!
