I believe it was first played at the Casino from the album "wake up America" or something similar.

The 7" Blue Thumb demos came from John Anderson for about £1.00' I bought 3 copies and did 2 very lucrative deals with both Ian Dewhurst (Frank) and John Vincent at the Bourne Corn exchange prior to the Casino the same sat night. After meeting John a few weeks later he told me there were Hundreds of them about that night at the Casino.

John Andreson would not tell me how many he had and both Frank and John were told this and i offered to do the deal back, both declined..............memories eh Guys from uncle the spy was purchased from John Anderson at the same time.......that was just becoming a big sound.Off topic i know but eh oh!!

Can someone please post a scan of the UK release ?

What was the the year it was released in the UK ?

Were there UK demos and issues ?

Where was this played first ?

Thanks !

another example of how the scene was much more broad minded and open to anything back then - it helped to be young and daft of coursesmile.gif
