This tune may well have a thread on here already so apologies in advance if so!!

Just been listening to solar radio and heard a cracking record.

Sure the Dj attributed it to Dee Edwards. It's called 'deal with it' I think?

Providing I'm not being thick and have got the info right, can someone please tell me if this is available on a legit vinyl release? Format, going rate etc?

Cheers

Azza

note to self - pay more attention to the radio Dj when he's talking.

Also got a release on Morning Glory 106.

Quite different mix. Morning Glory version will cost very little (£15??). but the DeTo track will be ten times that (or there abouts).

As Seb said two different mixes on De-To,

without strings first mix (for some the more desirable) £150-£175

With strings £100-£150

Morning Glory version Re-recorded by Dee about 10 years later, Synth style modern soul £10-£15

First two very nice and worth picking up now, as they never pressed that many and it will only get harder to find. Later Morning Glory version an aquired taste, but popular with the French boogie collectors.

Hi Azza, surprised me when i read you didn't know this !, i've had to play mine a few times to remember which version i had, and i have the one without the strings and tambourine, and that's the best version for me, feel the other is a bit messy and spoils that nice jumpy feel in the rhythm. Anyway that aside, i'd leave the morning glory (got that too) 45' too boogie for me, what people haven't mentioned though is the superb deep and moody flip...Possess Me, a real killer tune mate. Price ? well Jm books it@ £250 Tb @ £150, make of that what you will, not certain of the two which is the tougher, but as Dave Thorley says without strings is the first take so that is where i'd go young fellow.

Solar Radio.

Essential listening for whatever type of black music you're into. Heard more great records of all types on there that I did'nt know then I could shake a stick at. Long may it reign!!
