Guest Matt Male Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) Guys, where can i buy this kind of cases? https://viewmorepics....imageID=4833894 quality, nice design... Thanks! Quality? Are you serious? It looks like an old battered wooden case held together with gaffa tape. It looks home-made to me. Edited May 12, 2010 by Matt Male
Amsterdam Russ Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Judging by the locks on that I'd say it was donkey's years old. Car boot sale or eBay is going to be your best bet!
Dr Good Soul Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Quality? Are you serious? It looks like an old battered wooden case held together with gaffa tape. It looks home-made to me. Exactly what i thought but did'nt like to say
Sebastian Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) Haha! That's my old 45 case! It's an old vacuum cleaner case (!) from the 70s. It's really bad and I don't use it anymore. It did the trick for a while, but there are far better boxes out there that are specifically made for housing 45s. Edited May 13, 2010 by Sebastian

Reg Scott Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Guys, where can i buy this kind of cases? https://viewmorepics....imageID=4833894 quality, nice design... Thanks! Hi Petar, As the boys have said there are many boxes out there far more suitable than Sebastians old vacuum! There are a few suppliers that provide these in the UK, from rock solid 200 boxes to the more affordable lightweight aliminium types. If you want a list of suppliers drop me a mail. BTW Your records will be sent out today. ATB Greg.

Sebastian Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Whats the Beacon record?. Is it just another different Houseparty variation. It's "Why Build A Mountain" by Tony Morgan And The Mussel Power Band.
Chalky Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 The best one out there is swan flight and cost about £55 for 200 box, top quality they are too. Them that cost about £20 I wouldn't bother with, as they say you get what you pay for https://www.swanflight.com/acatalog/Record_Boxes.html

Harrogatesoul Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Ebay really for the 'retro' ones is your best bet - there are a few that go through. Though it does surprise me some enterprising soul hasn't had some of the more retro types manufactured - Even if its just the small 50/80 count boxes.
