Another mix of genres, from well known classics to lesser knowns. All are dancers and I'd happily recommend any of them as quality sounds that wouldn't break the bank! Ike Lovely - Fools Hall Of Fame - Wand. M- £15 Super soulful, Horace Ott arranged beauty. Crossover heaven. Bobbettes - Happy Go Lucky Me - RCA wdj. EX £15 Overlooked girl group northern beauty, yet another gem from the pen of the genius that is Van McCoy. Aaron Neville - A Hard Nut To Crack - Parlo. M- £15 SOLD This is good, really good and yet to be discovered by the masses. If you don't know it, just take a listen... Jimmy Jules - Ten Carat Fool - Abet. M- £30 Smouldering, early 70s mid tempo northern dancer. A real beauty. Russ Lewis - Brand New Recipe - Sharp. M- £12 Been picking up some plays recently, relentless in your face stormer. Jimmy Hughes - The Loving Physician - Fame wdj. M- £8 Infectious mid tempo chugger that really sounds the business out loud. Betty Wright - Circle Of Heart Breaks - Alston wdj. M- tape residue on flip label. £18 SOLD Stunning crossover. Temptations - Power - Gordy. M- £5 Brilliant, pounding up tempo winner, from 1980 but sounding earlier this is perfectly suited to both northern and modern rooms. Sidney Barnes - Talkin' 'Bout A Shindig/New York City - Blues Tone. EX £25 Two great sides on this forgotten oldie. Holidays - Watch Out Girl - Golden World. M- £10 Smoking, attitude ridden Detroit dancer. Like so many cheap records totally overlooked. Dynamite Sheenie - I Don't Wanna Love You - Starbound. EX £25 Mid tempo brilliance, just listen to it! James Fry - Still Around - Hi. EX £25 Superb bit of mid tempo northern, pretty hard one on the label and yet to get the attention it deserves. George E. Smith - Don't Find Me Guilty - Conclave. M- £15 SOLD Simply one of the best mid tempo northern records you're going to hear. If you don't believe me just take a listen... Danny Hunt - What's Happening To Our Love Affair - Dynamite. EX £25 SOLD Lots of interest in this recently, early 70s funky soul dancer that's going places. Norma Jenkins - Can You Imagine That - Desert Moon. EX+ £10 Big spin on release in the mid 70s, needs to be played again as it's fan-bloody-tastic! Jimmy (Soul) Clark - I Blew A Good Thing - Karen. £25 SOLD IMO, the best record on the list, pure quality that's going to be huge if it gets the plays it deserves. I've got a very small quantity of this 45, all are water damaged. I've cleaned the vinyl and they all play great, grade wise EX minimum. But the labels are, well they're shagged! Example scan below.
