CONNIE TANZELL & THE "L TRAYS" - DONT KNOCK ME - SOUL CLOCK RECORDS

I Couldnt find the discography for soul clock records but somebody told me this was the first release on this label ? i know the fuller brothers and ebonys did versions too but was just curious to find out the full story , would also be nice to know if connie tanzell released any other 45s as she has a great voice!

There is a soul clock listing on soulful kinda music :)  , yes it was the first released version on the label and the hardest / expensive one to find , still need it for my collection of the labels releases

i think one of the reasons we don't see a picture of Connie Tanzell (or at least i hadn't seen a picture until this one) is we needed to be looking for The L-Treys, not The L-Trays as on the label. Now...whether the label printer got it wrong, or the gig ad's where i got the picture is wrong, i can't say.
