well laddie,

let me tell you, as far as im aware richard played this at the casino 79/80 but to be sure, you'd have to ask him, anyway, yes its catchy disco and no reason why it shouldnt go. i have this myself on lp, remember it got u.s. release only however it also came out on a single which i used to have as well. when pep used to have his record shops in wolverhampton he was very prominent in bringing brand spanking new releases to the attention of the scene, he would ship in boat loads, probably one of the reasons why the scene is integrated with such cosmopolitan tastes for the last 35 years or so.

Let me tell you.........

I used to live in the West Coast of Scotland and always thought of this as an Aberdeen tune.

I picked the 7" up for a couple of pounds, two years before moving up to Aberdeen. Never got much reaction on the West coast. Got a gig in Aberdeen and folks go nuts for it, filling the dancefloor.

A fella from Aberdeen gave me the album out of his collection which sells for around $10, but the 7" can command £50-£80. Truly is some truth in regional sounds!

Though I don't play it nowadays, I let the young uns play it now, lol

Have to agree with Haydn - Not easy to pick up on 45. Massive on east coast.

I played it in Barcelona in December last year at Movin on and guess what The floor was stomping? - Not It died a death and I panicked and played Eric Lomax- Seven the loser after it and floor was buzzing again.

I was so annoyed PM died and thought it would be a winner- I got a better reaction to Act of faith- Lost in a breeze.

Strange this Djing game!
