was this ever booted or reissued? I just got a copy in the mail and something just doesnt look quite

right about it... is there a way to tell if its real? or are there only "real" copies out there?

thanks , i didnt figure it was as its not rare..i guess it just looks cleaner than i expected it too. like new.

there could have been an 80s jamie / guyden repress, they repressed lots of the hits on the label. the repress would be styrene and have a lighter colored label with a slightly smaller font.

it has a frankford/wayne stamp in the run out, would that verify anything, or would that have been on the 80's repress also?

May have been re-pressed for the 'Island Soul' market, possibly. DH is well-known in Jamaican circles, she even had at least one reggae release (a version of the Four Tempos' "My Dream Island")...

this record got played in the US. j/g repressed common barbara mason singles, etc. for the US market. it wouldn't necessarily have to be for the island market.
