Are you serious? I don't know the other 2 tracks but 'Someday' is the type of music i was listening to when i drifted off on the drugs and was taking vast amounts of E's. don't get me wrong, i like the music, but are you serious this sort of stuff has found its way into the soul scene???? no wonder we are having so many threads complaining about what a soul night should consist of!!!!! bledy hell, keep this stuff out of the soul nights/nighters - i am certain you could go to any decent nightclub down town to listen to that sort of music. like i said, not inteded to offend but come on...... our scene...... i think not
Guest Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 ok webby, you got me i just listened to half of joi Cardwell and now i know you are just taking the p*ss again
Ted Massey Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Lenny Williams used to sound fantastic mixed into as set that included Imperial C's, Magnetics Count the days, Richard Caiton I like to get near you. then again we are talking about one of the best venues Albrighton early days
Steve G Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 ok webby, you got me i just listened to half of joi Cardwell and now i know you are just taking the p*ss again It's a bit of a silly thread but he's not taking the p*ss. UBP an obvious contender Drizabone did it too. Corey Blake also a left fielder, maybe not for the soulful house guys But webby what's the point of this thread? Where are you going with this man?

Davetay Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 (edited) ok webby, you got me i just listened to half of joi Cardwell and now i know you are just taking the p*ss again No way is Webby taking the p*ss. I love all three records above so what is wrong in liking them if you are into Northern. As for the Joi Cardwell track, I was shocked when I Soul Sam played it in the big room at Middleton All-Nighter a year or so back. However it did not clear the dancefloor, yes people did dance to it. Dave. P.S. as Ted as said already Lenny Willams played at Al-Brighton. Edited April 26, 2010 by davetay

Alison H Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Check this one out Webby Terissa Griffin-Wonderful Nice Tttt ...... onsils I just love that track Ive been racking my little brain trying to think of a track that would please all 3 groups & it's obviously hard so the ones that I think could go down well are:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSiQCuKGd7w Donna Allen - He is the Joy MAW featuring Stephanie Mills - Latin Lover - ok maybe not but I love it & wanted to squeeze it in Evelyn "Champagne" King - Shame I s'pose Kenny Thomas's Crazy World & SOB Optimistic would go down well in a lot of places. Though I personally am a bit bored of them (Yes even Sounds of Blackness) Alison x
