Have found this record in a 50cent box.

I collect disco, so i pick it up for the a side title "do the boogie" but the a side is crap.

I hear the flip with "breezy" and its sweet!

The track is produced by werner Sch¼ler on Jupiter.

Jupiter is more known for the bullsh... Frank Farian or Ralf Siegel productions "the euro pop guys"

Anybody know something about it?

Found a soul-source post of 2008 for this record with the same question , without any answer.

I like this song and give it a spin sometimes. Nice production.

There was an info-text in my record and from what i can remember it said that the singer was in the Munich Jazz-scene.

Found some informalion:

Legendary houseband of the Jazzclub í…¾Domicile" in the mid 70's.

Produced by Werner Sch¼ler.

The singer Mel Canady was born in alabama and went to munich (germany) with his gospelband.

He stay here and and work with a lot of german jazz and soul bands and as an actor on some theathers in germany.

Now he plays Ray Charles in the Musical "Ray" on a theather in munich.
