Can anyone confirm that Frank Wilson of Motown fame is the same person that sang lead with The Remarkables and also recorded as Frank Vance on Revue?

I was a bit confused because it says so in the "Soul Harmony Book" and time-wise it seems feasable that he would have recorded on a LA label in the mid-sixties.

Frank and Vance Wilson were involved with Audio Arts and other labels, but not the famous Frank. He was on salary for Motown, but rumour has it, his line manager Hal Davies moonlighted a few Jobete songs around the LA scene.
