Jumpinjoan Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 hey russ what a tune........asked for this at a do recently.....and the dj said it'll clear the floor....WHAT!!! The sad thing is it probably would. The only time I have seen any real dance floor action to it is when Butch plays it
Pete S Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 You lot make me laugh, if this was on a British label you'd be slagging it off as a white stomper!
Jumpinjoan Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 You lot make me laugh, if this was on a British label you'd be slagging it off as a white stomper! It is a good record, not brilliant by any means. But slag it off? No Pete.
Russ Vickers Posted April 3, 2010 Author Posted April 3, 2010 You lot make me laugh, if this was on a British label you'd be slagging it off as a white stomper! I like some blue eyed stuff, not keen on pop, but love Carolinas stuff, Vivian Carol & many others, unfortunately I wasnt around when Sandy Hadley was first played at the Mecca, so when it started getting a few plays a couple of years ago, whilst it sounded familiar, to me it was relatively unknown. I've grown to love it, to the extent where I want one. I'm not keen on British stuff on the whole, with a few exceptions, although my main criteria for buying records is if I like something or not, period. Now go & find one for me Pete & you can laugh some more when I hand over the dosh .............chill mate & go & eat some Easter Eggs or summat
Russ Vickers Posted April 3, 2010 Author Posted April 3, 2010 get to the back of the queue Hi mate, hope your well..............you've got too many good records, you need to let me have some . See ya in a few weeks Russ
jocko Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 You lot make me laugh, if this was on a British label you'd be slagging it off as a white stomper! You are becoming obsessed, there are enough fruitcakes on here without you turning into one, rather than just being grumpy!

Ted Massey Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Manship has afew pressings i sold an original on here 6 months ago for £500 only one interested
Dave Abbott Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 You lot make me laugh, if this was on a British label you'd be slagging it off as a white stomper! ticks most of the boxes damnit apart from the British label one...that's what stops it being brilliant...
Pete S Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I wasnt around when Sandy Hadley was first played at the Mecca Sandy Hadley was a Searling spin at Wigan! It was on the first tape I ever recorded there.
Epic Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Sandy Hadley was a Searling spin at Wigan! It was on the first tape I ever recorded there. It was also one of the last Northern tunes played at The Highland Room by Colin Curtis
Russ Vickers Posted April 4, 2010 Author Posted April 4, 2010 It was also one of the last Northern tunes played at The Highland Room by Colin Curtis ......................................... Now thats out of the way, can anyone sell me one perleeeeaaaaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeeeeeee.......... If no one will dance to it, & its a white pop stomper, its also been booted, this piece of crap should be flying out of any self respecting soul fans collection, so why on earth wont some one sell me a copy..........hang on, I think I might have talked myself out of it now.................nah, still luv it ............
