Robin Rice - I've Had It.

Metro release is a different mix to the one on Crackerjack. Is this correct and if so what's the difference?

Hi Andy

sure this has been discussed before,i have the crackerjack release but have never had copy of the metro one so not sure if there is a difference, be good if someone could refresh the memory on this one, Pete Smith perhaps?

OK, well I think Nancy turned up the first metro copy and sold it to me, I played it and could hear immediately it was different. If it had been turned up before, nobody had spotted the difference!The Metro version has a lot more echo on the vocals - it's great, I prefer it to the Crackerjack one. So yes, absolutely a different mix.

Aye and I in turn bought it off you (if it was that same one)! Same deal when I had The Ellusions off you.... Must've been 8 or 9 years ago?? I eventually traded Robin Rice onto John Manship...

Tell you what, I can't remember what I did yesterday half the time and sometimes have difficulty remembering my own name but it's amazing how you remember who you had records off innit?...

I have the Metro and the Crackerjack promo. I never realised they were different! Nice one. Learn summat different everyday.
