Wilxy Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 A typical oversight on my part, thinking that I had one of these tucked away on Groovesville, noticed somewhere that it never came out on the particular label.....Could anyone enlighten me to as to what (vinyl format)other than UK Contempo was it legitimately released on (if indeed at all)? cheers wilxy

45cellar Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 (edited) GOT ONE SOMEWHERE WILXY-i do know this it is a bloody incredible record -without doubt one of his finest!!! BAZ A This BOOT came out in the 70s, using the 1968 Version from the Rare Stamps Album >>> LINK <<< Other than that, I don't think that it was issued as a 45 before the Contempo Version. Guest Paul Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Fantastic track, equal to the brilliant 'Please Let Me In' in my opinion. "You're my girl, forever..." I love it.

Anoraks Corner Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 cheers fellas Mike...ask Adey Pierce about this one as I 100% recall he had a green label copy that looked like the bootleg 45...but...the print was different, the press was different as was the flipside track. He sold it a loooooong time ago, but should remember, mind!
Weingarden Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 There are also copies floating around on a copycat blue-yellow-green Groovesville label that came out in the past five or ten years and look much more legitimate, with "Our Love Is in the Pocket" on the flip.
