well i've never even heard of this , let alone seen one. does anyone have a sound clip and a bit of history behind the artist?

Kenny's right, an effort by Motown to introduce more mainstream middle of the road type songs on to the label, see Billy Eckstine as well

TONY MARTIN WAS ONE OF THE TOP CROONERS FROM THE 1940`S AND 50`S WITH MILLION SELLERS LIKE STRANGER IN PARADISE ETC. ALTHO WHITE HE HAD A GREAT VOICE AND BERRY GORDY LOVED HIM. HE IS STILL ALIVE HE WAS 96 IN DECEMBER

hatsoff2.gif This Record and other #TMG-530s, takes me back to the early 7ts when "Mick informed me to pick up any early TMG500s especially the TMGs in the 530s". They are extremely hard to find, especially in mint condition.

Quite right Dave, and whilst no longer a "strict" UK collector personally, from a "motown" perspective the red & white demos are very desirable.....perhaps even the "label fillers"so to speakyes.gif
