Pete S
At some point in the mid 90's, I got asked if I'd give someone dancing lessons (I used to be a good dancer, now I can barely walk) anyway I reluctantly agreed and we set a fee of £20 for an hours lessons. Anyway this chap came down from London to St leonards just to do this, after a fairly embarrassing start (my neighbour Nancy rang twice asking "You dancing?") we made a bit of progress and by the end he could do the basic side to side dance steps. Anyway we had a coke and I said, erm, can we settle up now and he says oh yeah sure, I'll just go and get myt wallet, it's in the car. I watched out of the window as he got to his car, opened the door, got in and drove off back to London, leaving me both knackered and £20 short. The c*nt. Richard
You don't need dance lessons it's easy You put your right leg in, your right leg out, in out in out then shake it all about. Then do the same with the left one and that's about it really Edited March 15, 2010 by richard Link to comment Social source share

Ady Croasdell
Vicky is a nice girl who came along to the last Cleethorpes. She is serious about this and originally wanted to learn people's individual dances that they struggle to do as effectively nowadays due to the ravages of time. I'm not sure if this is the same project but she is treating it seriously and giving it respect. it would be interesting if she could learn how to dance say like Angie in her teenage years, I'm assuming your dance style is slightly toned down now Angie? I put Vicky in touch with Sue Price from Abingdon who was a fine mover and spinner, I'm not sure how that went. Link to comment Social source share
