Guest Brett F Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I used to buy tapes off somebody in Yorkshire (may be Barnsley ?), it was all mail order, huge lists Northern, Newies (Modern) etc, around 1985, 1986, i still have loads of these old tapes all track lists were typed etc, at the time other than actually meeting people and swapping tapes this was a great way to hear stuff (outside of venues) and then hopefully pick up at some stage on vinyl. I still have all these tapes by the way. I imagine there will be others on here who did the same.....

I still have 500+ in the loft in boxes. The one's I did myself for myself, I didn't put down track listing ( loads of stuff can't remember what they are.) I couldn't imagine forgetting names or titles back than.
