Guest WPaulVanDyk Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 how long have you got hundreds of tunes in Peterborough get spin a lot. when i go out. Jackie Wilson - Because of You and Four Tops - Something About you are common as if the artists never made any other tracks i applaud Martin Stamford who given last time he played a Four tops track in last year wasn't Something About You but every other DJ has hammered it
Guest Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 (edited) Why not try attending events where you won't hear these tunes over and over again? There's plenty of venues out there... If there is a " space " between visiting a particular venue for me , I always get asked why I have not been for what ever period is applicable . When I tell them my absence is not out of disrespect , but that I have been seeking out venues where the music policy is more adventurous . There is too much music out there , ad I am afraid to me , not enough time to enjoy it . If I want a musical comfort zone , I will stay at home , put an oldies CD on and do the ironing .......
