pikeys dog Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Embers LP - sold a few of these over the last few years - £35 was the top price.
Guest Nick Harrison Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) Walter And Sisters - Studio 10.................................should sell that at a ill - advised hand snapping price of £100.00 imho. Still demanding a sales pitch of £200 - £280 very tops including condition mint plus, but then "The Flog It" badged wearing could well be lurking. Look at the recent copies of Saga - Im Alive. Guest Nick Harrison Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 you can have my copy for £250.00 if you want to make a bit of profit. it is £200.00 on john manships site. mark Both issue's 4th and 5th of Manships guide price it at £150.00, but what the f@ck is identity over authenticaty, does not always equal "value", if that is the answer. I have sold 2 copies "out of season" - both for £300.00 to european buyers. But then deep soul is my thing' so why is Nobodys Child (Sounds of Soul 205) listed at £100.00 per copy in JM's. The list of named acknowledgements on page 2 does not assist any deep collectors, looking within the Jm bible. Christ its ONLY JUST taken the masses to accept the fact that Richard Searling, recently STATED yes STATED, on Shaun Robbin's Solar 0129 sunday morning show "Northern Soul is deep soul - you can dance too"........................................ .

Tiggerwoods Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Hi, Looking to shift a few things. Could anyone put a price on the following for me? Walter & Sisters..How long...studio 10 Soul Messengers..that girl..Phils Embers...burn you a new one...L.P. Thanks Best Ed Bought my soul messengers from Andy Dyson for £50 two years ago at Prestatyn. Seems to be around but it books much higher and have heard Karl Heard and I think Paul Sadot play it out. One of those 'it could be £50 could be £100' tunes. Still not that well known and I think.... fabulous! Phil
