Suinoz Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I have this in the wants section and was wondering what the going rate would be as it say's 500 pounds in Manship's guide ? It's the Gentlemen Four, you can't keep a good man down, Wand 1184. HAS ANYONE GOT ONE FOR SALE ?? Thanks in advance, Tony. OZ.

Marc Forrest Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I turned down an offer of 600 UKP recently...but then again I would have turned down a grand for it LOL! Just f***ng love this 45!
Ritchieandrew Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I turned down an offer of 600 UKP recently...but then again I would have turned down a grand for it LOL! Just f***ng love this 45! A superb Rare Record with a great version of "it won't hurt" on the other side. Price wise worth considerably more than J.M's latest guide price. Most copies are Demos but issues do exist (Steve Green sold one for £700) see his post above. One also went recently in VG condition on E-bay, but prior to that, only one previously listed on Popsike in 2007. Regards Ricardo.
NEV Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I turned down an offer of 600 UKP recently...but then again I would have turned down a grand for it LOL! Just f***ng love this 45! Yes but Marc ...your valuations don't count..... you'd have probably offered £300 for it but would'nt sell for a grand
Marc Forrest Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Yes but Marc ...your valuations don't count..... you'd have probably offered £300 for it but would'nt sell for a grand Well,...lets put it that way then, if I wouldn`t already have it I would pay up to 700 UKP for a strong copy. Better ? NB Just arrived in Aachen for the big weekender and most probably will play it in about six hrs

Guest Lobster Madras Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 (edited) That's settled then Marc ..it's worth a grand Tis a proper choon and will go down a storm tonight for you Great record, I've posted wants for it before but it takes serious offers to prize a copy out of a collection. If I got offered one for £500 I'd be extremely happy. Edited March 5, 2010 by Lobster Madras
