Who used to play this at Stafford? One of my faves from that time.

ps I thought Shute had bought a disco record when I saw the title.

Legendary tune IMO. Unusually enough, a real Cleethorpes Winter Gardens memory for me from when RB was so ably assisting us to hold the place together.... sniff..............memories...like the corners of my mind etc etc

Now though, I'm sure Roger must get sick of me running in during his spot whenever I bump into him, asking for this, shuffling my not very impressive thang along to it, and then scuttling off back to the modern room!

Anyway, what's the Jaadee then? It's on Tide innit?....

Any chance of a soundclip?

Think I've heard Butch spin it the odd time. Did it come out on two labels? or under two names?

Aye that's what I was thinking Chalky.... I only ever had it down as E Williams on Tide.....

Roger! Where are you!?..........

Jimmy Williams on Tide books at £1k

E.Williams on Jaydee books at £4k!!!

Is there a difference in the recordings then? Someone said recently the artists are one and the same.....

E.Williams is the one that gets the plays...solid tune!

The Jimmy Williams is also rare...but is a different recording set at a more uptempo pace and with (unfortunately) a weaker vocal....interesting but not in the same league.
