I'm like a child with a new toy, just fired up the 100k rig and played it, boy, oh boy it's good. the sound file doesn't do it justice, sorry to be so gushing. March 1, 201015 yr Nothing in the Demon listings either Dave....... Smith Connection - You Ain't Livin' Unless Your Lovin' Smith Connection - (I've Been A Winner, I've Been A Loser) I've Been In Love Smith Connection - Angel Girl Smith Connection - I Can't Hold On Much Longer Smith Connection - I've Come To Stay Smith Connection - My World is Empty Without You Smith Connection - Rainy Days & Mondays Smith Connection - Til There Was You Smith Connection - Under My Wings Smith Connection - Wish I Had You Smith Connection - I'm Bugging Your Phone (Parts 1 & 2 ) Smith Connection - The Day You Leave Not surprising though. I'm awaiting a list of a load of unreleased Invictus/Hot Wax/Music Merchant stuff which should be with me soon. Phil Dick also found a load of unreleased stuff on the H-D-H labels on a Detroit visit so the story's still unfolding on these labels..... Ian D Edited March 1, 201015 yr by Ian Dewhirst
March 2, 201015 yr Thats a great find.Have listened to it 3 times and it gets better and better. Let's hope Ian comes up with more sounds as good as this.
March 2, 201015 yr It has no official release. Judging from the soundfile it must have been recorded after the lp. Probably just before the label closed down and Michael Love Smith moved on to his next label.

From what I know from Detroit guys there wasn't always the attention to detail as there was when they were at Motown. Sometimes sessions were more about getting things out just to meet their commitments with the different deals that they had. Still this does sound like a finished track and I like, as you maybe able to tell. Dave
